Technology in Health Care: A glimpse into the future with the Mayo Clinic & Illinois Alliance
October 5, 2021, 12:00 pm – 1:00 CDT
How do we innovate to solve health care challenges? How can we use technology to improve patient care? These questions form the foundation for the Mayo Clinic & Illinois Alliance for Technology-Based Healthcare. For more than a decade, students and researchers from both institutions have worked together to improve care and treatment for Alzheimer’s, cancer, depression, kidney stones, genetic disorders, and more.
Join us Oct. 5 at noon for the first Technology in Health Care speaker series one-hour virtual event to learn from leaders at Mayo Clinic and Illinois how the powerful collaboration between our institutions is advancing computational and engineering-based medicine, and what this means for you and your loved ones. This one-hour event will include discussions about the next chapter of the Alliance, its impact on the future of technology in clinical care, and a panel of Mayo Clinic and University of Illinois collaborators and alumni who will share their stories of clinical research and translation.
This event is held in coordination with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Homecoming and the Mayo Clinic’s 10th Annual Individualizing Medicine Conference. Registration will be available soon.
